“Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.” — Acts 2:4
Pentecost reminds us of the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Fear becomes courage, isolation becomes mission, and the community becomes a living witness to the Gospel.
A Spirit That Transforms
The Holy Spirit comes to renew our hearts and give us the courage to move beyond our fears. Just as the disciples were transformed at Pentecost, we too are called to open our hearts to God's presence and allow His Spirit to guide our lives.
The Spirit invites us to see the world through God's eyes, recognizing the needs, hopes, and struggles of those around us.
Called to Serve
Pentecost is not only a celebration of faith—it is also a call to mission. Filled with the Holy Spirit, we are sent to serve with generosity and compassion, bringing hope, justice, reconciliation, and love wherever they are needed.
For Stella Maris, this call is lived through our presence and service to seafarers, fishers, migrants, and all those who may be far from home.
Sharing the Joy of the Risen Christ
The Holy Spirit gives us the courage to become witnesses of the joy of the Risen Christ, not only through our words but through the way we live and serve others.
May this Pentecost find us open and ready to be filled with the Spirit, allowing God's love to guide our actions and strengthen our commitment to walk alongside those who need hope and companionship.
May we continue to carry the light of Christ wherever we are called to serve.
Happy Pentecost!
